Using a cylindrical sample of porous titanium as an example, a method for comparative analysis of flow characteristics for samples of porous materials is considered. Based on the quadratic and logistic functions, approximations of the absolute flow characteristics of a porous titanium sample were proposed, which made it possible to find an approximation of the integral relative flow characteristics in explicit form. Based on the relative flow characteristics using the Young-Laplace equation, explicit expressions for the integral and differential distributions were also obtained, the critical pore size and the 0.95 confidence interval of the pore size distribution in the studied sample were found.
